About the Portal

RBI Retail Direct is a one-stop online platform that allows retail investors to open a Constituent Subsidiary General Ledger (CS-GL) account directly with the Reserve Bank of India. Through this facility, investors can purchase government securities (G-Secs) including Treasury Bills, Government Bonds, and State Development Loans directly from the primary market.
